Exactly what I was looking for!
After trying out several applications on both iOS and PC, this is the one I use (along with Diving Log 6.0 on a Windows PC to capture my dive computer data). I love that I can start the log on my phone at the dive site in order to capture things like GPS location, info I want to remember, and a signature from a dive master or buddy, without having to manually enter any of the data that my computer automatically logs. Then, once I'm home, I download my computer to add the dive profile, temperatures, air consumption, etc. and merge the two sets of info together. The statistics are really fun. Want to know how many times you've dove at your favorite spot or with a certain buddy? How many hours you spent underwater last October? Your deepest / longest / coldest dive? How many dives one of your exposure suits survived? The statistics feature can not only answer these questions, but will also link to each of the associated dives. You can also use this app to keep track of all of your equipment, including pictures, serial numbers, warranty info, service schedules (with optional reminders), and it can track dive counts for each piece. It also stores certification info including images of C-cards. Love this app!
Best Dive App
This is the best dive app out there. It does everything you need. I can download information directly from my dive computer and then easily add all the information I need. The only issue I have had is with pictures. The app allows to to take pictures within the app or add a picture from your computer or phone of dive equipment and dive sights. Some pictures added from my phone will not crop properly. Pictures taken from within the app can’t then be shared. This is a very minor issue. It would be nice if basic information about a dive could be shared among dive buddies. Don’t waste you time or money getting a different app. This is the one you have been looking for.
Super responsive developer
I have tried a couple electronic log books and this is my favorite by far, though I have been manually logging my dives as my old computer didn’t support downloads. Wii u super mario games. I recently bought a new computer (Aqualung i550C) and posted a note on the support forum asking if anyone had got Dive Log to work with it via Bluetooth download yet. The developer contacted me and within a couple days had a working beta of the software that supports my computer. Amazing! Thank you for a great product and top notch support.
